10/01/2024📚 LOVE READING FOR KIDS 📚
📖 MONEY FOR SCHOOL LIBRARIES 📖
We are getting very excited about our new library now that the building work is well underway. The new library is going to be a wonderful resource to support reading and the curriculum but because the space is so much bigger we need to fill it with many more books. If you are a book buyer you might like to consider buying books through the LoveReading4Kids website.
LoveReading is an online bookstore that gives 25% of the money you spend to provide books to the schools of your choice. The website includes reviews, extracts and booklists and you can search by age. When you check out you choose which school you want the 25% to go to, we would love it if you chose Woolmer Hill.
Take a look at the website here:

Thank you in advance for your support!

9/01/2024Our Year 8 students have had a thoroughly enjoyable and informative RE trip to the Hindu Mandir in Neasden today. Their behaviour was impeccable and we’re proud of how they conducted themselves. #schooltrip#retrip#hinduism#mandir#ProudToBelong
5/01/2024A fantastic opportunity from Activate Learning, who operate Guildford College, Farnham College and Merrist Wood, for our Year 10 and Year 11 students.
Between January and May 2024, students in Year 10 and 11 will be able to sign up to BESPOKE TASTER SESSIONS ON CAMPUS, aimed at helping them to make informed decisions about their next steps.
Each session will be completely tailored to a Career Pathway and provide students with the opportunity to sample an activity related to the course, view the facilities, and ask the tutors questions about studying with Activate Learning.
This programme will replace the ‘round robin’ style taster events that the colleges have facilitated over the last couple of years for some schools, and has been carefully designed specifically in relation to feedback about these events. Rather than experiencing a given range of activities, students will have complete control over the subject(s) they sign up for and how many they attend.
Students can sign up for the taster sessions by following the link below and searching for the event they wish to attend.
