27/09/2023Unfortunately, due to a diminished committee, FOWH have had to take the difficult decision to postpone their Quiz & Curry night. Do not worry though as it will return in the new year which will give us all something to look forward to!

It feels timely to add that if you would like to get involved in the Friends of Woolmer Hill, who do amazing work fundraising for our school by putting on great events such as these, new members are always welcome! Open Evening 2023 & Tours
THURSDAY 28th SEPTEMBER 2023
Our annual Open Evening, aimed at students in Years 5 and 6 and their parents, will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday 28th September 2023.
This will be a chance for families to visit our school, meet with staff and students, tour our facilities and get an overall feel for our culture, ethos and values.
We will be holding Headteacher Talks at 5pm and 5.45pm. If you wish to attend one of the Headteacher’s talks you will need to book your seats in advance of the event. To give all prospective families a chance to hear a talk seats are limited to 3 per household. Seats must be booked via Eventbrite, booking will open at 9am on 15th September.
If you do not wish to attend a Headteacher talk, you do not need to book for this event and are welcome to join us at any time. Please be aware that the event finishes at 7pm so please arrive at least an hour before this to allow enough time to view the school before the evening ends.
Parking on site is very limited due to building work – please lift share or walk if possible.
SMALL GROUP TOURS
BOOKINGS FOR TOURS WILL OPEN AT 9AM ON WEDNESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER.
We are delighted to be able to offer small group tours to parents and carers of Year 6 students. These will take place on:
Monday 2nd October
Wednesday 4th October
Monday 9th October
Wednesday 11th October
All tours will start at 9.15am and will finish at 10am. Please book your spaces via Eventbrite.
Please note that spaces for these tours are limited and for that reason they are specifically for Year 6 families only and tickets are restricted to 2 per family. We would also politely request that you cancel tickets should you find yourself unable to attend.
If attending one of these tours, please ensure that you arrive between 9.05am and 9.10am, so that we have time to register you before the tour starts promptly at 9.15am. If you are coming by car, please use the main car parks outside the school gates and approach the school on foot.
We would also suggest that your children do not need attend these tours, particularly if they plan on visiting our Open Evening on Thursday 28th September.
