Home Learning

We believe that home learning is an important way of reinforcing and developing the learning that has taken place in the classroom. It also helps to develop the learner's ability to work independently and demonstrate and develop the transferable learning attributes.

It is strongly recommended that all students, in addition to set home learning work, carry out some reading each and every day.

Home learning will be monitored closely, and feedback provided to students.

13/09/2025FOWH (Friends of Woolmer Hill): Join us at The Mill Tavern on Thursday 25th September, 7:30pm and meet some of our lovely parents and carers to discuss potential fundraising events. Some of our most exciting previous events include: 🤩June 2023: Our first colour run raising £400 🤩January 2024: Staff and parent quiz night raising a whopping £1800 🤩November 2024: Fireworks Event with Friends of Beacon Hill raising an incredible £7000!

11/09/2025PE Clubs... 🏅All clubs listed in blue start from Monday 15th September 🏅 Students do not need to sign up to clubs listed in blue, they simply need to report to The Edge with their PE kit 🏅 All clubs in blue are open to all students regardless of ability or prior experience 🏅 After school PE clubs run from 3:15pm - 4:20pm 🏅Clubs listed in red are led by external coaches and will be starting later in the term. A letter regarding these clubs will be sent out in due course. #ProudToBelong #ProudToAchieve
