We have created this short video that includes a tour of the test centre and a step by step tutorial on how to do the test. We hope that this will give the students some comfort in knowing what to expect and we can assure you that there will be lots of staff on hand to help and support them.

Annual School Production
Our school production last year was Our House; the award winning musical featuring hit songs by Madness, and we held three sell out shows to enthusiastic audiences!
Here is what some of the students had to say about taking part:
"An amazing experience, it's changed the way I think about drama."

5/03/2021This week for 'Feel Good Friday' we are promoting the Welfare and Pastoral Team's Time To Talk appointments. Throughout the next week, we will be offering 1:1 appointments for students to talk through any concerns or worries they have regarding their return to school.

There are many different types, approaches, topics, genres, really something for everyone and so much more than just picking up a paintbrush or colouring pencil!
We would love to see our students get involved with some or all of these events, so if you are looking for something to do this weekend, why not have a dabble in the world of Art? Please do let your Art teachers know if you enter, they'd love to see your work and find out how you get on.

4/03/2021📚 Happy World Book Day! 📚
Today, Thursday 4th March, is World Book Day and the launch of the Woolmer Hill 'Read for Good' Readathon and House Competition!
All students are invited to take part and read to raise money for children in hospital and earn books for the school library. Plus you can earn house points for every book you read!
Download a sponsor form and a bingo card from the Library Google classroom and then get your friends and family to sponsor you. You can also download a World Book Day voucher which you can use to buy one of the special £1 World Book Day books to get you started!
All the money raised provides books and storytellers to all the UK's major children's hospitals and funds projects encouraging children to read for fun. There will be a prize for the star reader and our school receives free books worth 20% of our grand sponsorship total – so there really is something in it for everyone! Sponsors pay online at readforgood.org and the Readathon will end on March 26th.
Let's get reading and support this worthy cause! 📖

26/02/2021It's 'Feel Good Friday' and this week we are looking at mindfulness.
Mindfulness includes being aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without any judgement. It also includes being aware of all the senses around you, to fully focus on the good things in the present.
Learning to be more mindful can be great for our wellbeing in all areas and at all times of our life. It helps us to be in tune with the world around us and with our own body, which can help reduce stress by not focusing as much on the past or the future. Being more mindful has been shown to make us more happy.
With mindfulness in mind, this 'Mindful March' calendar gives you ideas of how you can be more mindful this month.
