Examinations
Formal examinations will be sat in Years 9-11, at differing points in the academic year. The expectations and format will follow those of the external GCSE examinations that students sit in Year 11.
Years 7 and 8 have an 'exams week' that form part of their in-class timetable and this takes place towards the end of the summer term.
If you have any queries regarding examinations, please contact our Exams Officer, Mrs. Ravaux.

Results Day 2023
GCSE results day this year is Thursday 24rd August 2023. Results will be available for collection on Thursday 24th August from 10am – 11.30am from the main school hall. Members of staff will be on hand to provide support and guidance to students who require it.
We hope that students will be able to come and collect their results in person but we do understand that sometimes this is not possible. If students are unable to come in to school on Results Day they can send a representative on their behalf to collect them or request that the results are emailed to them directly. If you intend on opting for one of these methods the student must email the Exams Officer, Mrs Ravaux, fravaux@woolmerhill.surrey.sch.uk with their instructions by 12noon on Monday 17th July 2023. Please note that all requests relating to results must come from the student and they must use their individual Woolmer Hill School email address for this purpose.
Please note that emails containing result information will not be released until 12noon on the 24th August.
We are unable to give results out by telephone under any circumstances and results cannot be passed to anyone other than the named student unless we have signed, written permission from the student.
Information regarding post results services, including clerical checks and reviews of marking, will be available on our website as and when it becomes available from the exam boards.
Should you have any questions relating to your results or appeals please get in touch with Mrs Ravaux, our Exams Officer.
