Open Evening 2021
** Tickets for our Open Evening are sold out and we understand that some families have been unable to book to visit us. We are running a waiting list via Eventbrite and this will release tickets if we receive cancellations and returns. We are looking at the possibility of running smaller tours of the school at a later date and if we decide to go ahead with these more information will be posted here. **
We are pleased to be hosting our Annual Open Evening on Thursday 30th September 2021 between 5pm and 8pm and we look forward to welcoming visitors in person this year. This is an event aimed at prospective families from current Years 5 & 6; this is an opportunity for you to come and see our school, take a tour of the site, see our facilities, meet our students and staff and discuss your child's secondary education.
Whilst Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, we still feel it prudent to operate a booking system, staggering the entry of our visitors and ensuring that we don't get overcrowding and long queues. With this in mind we also feel that it is unwise to hold talks for large volumes of people and therefore Miss Talbot, our headteacher, will do her talk virtually and pre-recorded and it will be available to view here on the evening and afterwards. We would also advise that during your time with us all adult visitors wear a mask or face covering whilst indoors.
Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite and you can access our event by clicking the link below.
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/woolmer-hill-school-open-evening-2021-tickets-170273850671Please book a ticket for each member of your family that is attending, including children. We will only be able to admit adults and children to the event if they have tickets, and we would ask that you have these ready as you approach the entrance so that we can minimise queuing. We will not accept visitors without a booking.
Please ensure that you arrive within 15 minutes of your arrival time, last admission will be at 7.30pm. As Open Evening is always busy, we do encourage families to walk to the school site or be dropped off where possible. We anticipate that visitors will need to spend around 45 minutes on site in order to see the school.
With demand for the event being so high, if your booked tickets are no longer required, we would be grateful if you could either cancel your booking with Eventbrite or let us know via the email address below so that we can do this for you.
If you have any questions about the event please get in touch by emailing email@example.com.
We look forward to welcoming you!
