If you're child is interested in challenging themselves and learning new skills that will last a lifetime, this might be the extra-curricular option for them. 10/09/2024It may feel distinctly autumnal out there but the Art department are wanting everyone to celebrate summer! They are running a competition open to all students (and staff) and are asking for entries that reflect on the passing season. They can be any format; watercolour, acrylics, fabrics, wools, clay or print! Whilst there will be prizes to be won, anonymous entries can also be made. If your child has been working on something creative this summer or would like to make something to reflect the holiday they have just had, please do encourage them to send it in to the Art Department for display in our gallery. Who knows it might even bring the sunshine back! ☀️☀️☀️ #artcompetition #summerart #schoolart

6/09/2024As the mornings and afternoons appear to be getting darker already, we wanted to put out our usual recommendation that if your child is walking to and from school, particularly if they walk through the steep wooded section of Woolmer Hill, that it is strongly advisable that they have some form of reflector or flashing on their bag or coat to make them more visible to road users. #roadsafety #stayvisible #staysafe

5/09/2024We are looking forward to hosting our YEAR 7 Parent Information Evening tonight. The event is from 6pm-7pm in the main school hall and seats are still available if you have yet to book or would now like to attend. Please contact the school office for information on how to book seats. The expectation is that all parents should attend as we will be disseminating information about the year ahead and how you can best support your child with their transition to secondary school. 28/08/2024We can’t wait to welcome our ☀️ Summer School ☀️ students tomorrow & Friday! If your child is attending, please drop them off at The Edge (not the school gates as stated in the original letter) at 8.45am. They can be collected from there at 3pm. Lunch is provided but please supply them with a water bottle and ensure that they come prepared for the weather - sun cream applied and a cap if sunny 🌞 and a waterproof if the forecast is rain 🌧️. #SecondaryTransition #teambuilding #makingnewconnections #BuildingNewBonds
