Transport Options

Woolmer Hill Home to School Transport 2025-2026

We run our own transport service which parents pay for via a termly (or annual) fee. The dedicated email address for enquiries about this is transport@woolmerhill.surrey.sch.uk

If you wish to discuss transport options or find out how to book and pay, please get in touch with the school.

We currently offer 4 routes:

Route A:

Farnham to Woolmer Hill School via Headley and Grayshott

Route C:

Tilford Green Car park to Woolmer Hill via Churt and Hindhead

Route D:        

Ash Green, to Elstead to Woolmer Hill School

Route E

Churt to Woolmer Hill

Public bus services

From Chiddingfold

The No.471 Stagecoach service is a special Woolmer Hill route that runs from Chiddingfold through to Woolmer Hill School, collecting from High Lane in Haslemere. Please click here for the timetable.

From Guildford

The No.71 Stagecoach service runs from Guildford, through to Godalming, Chiddingfold and to Woolmer Hill. Please click here for the timetable.

From Midhurst / Fernhurst

The No.70 Stagecoach service runs from Midhurst to Guildford with stops in Fernhurst and Haslemere. Please click here for the timetable.

 

NEW SUMMER 2026!!!

Surrey Connect service for after-school clubs

We are pleased to share that the Southwest Haslemere Surrey Connect service has been updated with a new virtual stop that has been activated for our students: "Woolmer Hill School After School Club only".

Please note that this stop is strictly for students attending late clubs; it is not available during peak school commute hours, such as morning drop-off or the standard afternoon pick-up. The stop is directly outside the school gates, in the bus parking area.

Surrey CC home to school transport

Some students are eligible for free transport to school, provided by Surrey County Council. Details of how to apply, along with the eligibility criteria are on Surrey's website - please click here for more information.

If you do not live in Surrey, your home county council may be able to offer transport but you will need to apply through them directly and contact them to see if your child is eligible.
