Appointments During the School Day

Please arrange medical and dental appointments outside the normal school day whenever possible.

If an appointment must take place during school hours, please ensure your child attends school before and after the appointment, as they do not need to be absent for the whole day.

Should your child need to leave school during the day for an appointment, please send a message via Studybugs.

To help us record the absence accurately on Arbor, please include:

The type of appointment (e.g. dental, GP, hospital)

The date and time of the appointment

Collection and/or arrival times

Please forward any medical documentation such as an appointment letter, email or confirmation text to attendance@woolmerhill.surrey.sch.uk

You will need to collect your child from main reception. Students are not permitted to leave the school site unaccompanied; including meeting a parent in the car park.

If you would like your child to leave the site with an alternative adult (including older siblings) we will need confirmation from you via email to: attendance@woolmerhill.surrey.sch.uk.
