25/10/2026Another incredible few days on the Ypres History trip.
23/10/2026Our students arrived in Ypres this morning, and not a minute has been wasted!
A visit to Hill 60, the WWI battlefield memorial site South of Ypres, was particularly moving.
Next, Cloth Hall. Built in the 1200’s but left in ruins after WWI, it was meticulously reconstructed between 1933-1967. Students then headed to Menin Road, the site of the Battle of the Menin Road Ridge.
A favourite stop for the group was a visit to the Hooge Crater Museum where students were bowled over by the life-size reconstructions of WWI battle scenes and trenches.
Dinner and a visit to see the giant Halloween cat before an early night! What a day!
22/10/2026Today’s Halloween bake sale was a HUGE success!
As ever, our wonderful parents and carers provided the most amazing selection of cakes and treats, helping to raise an incredible £307.24 to split between our four house charities.
22/10/2026A reminder for Year 6 parents that the application deadline for secondary school places is Saturday 31st October.

21/10/2026We had the pleasure of welcoming printmaker Sophie Brogden to the art department yesterday. Year 10 were taught different printing techniques, including lino printing and creating botanical monoprints.
The final results were outstanding, well done Year 10 👏

21/10/2026Don’t forget to bring your cakes and bakes tomorrow to help raise money for our house charities!
Show off your baking skills and bring cash to purchase spooky snacks at break and lunchtime.
50p a go to guess how many sweets are in the jar to win ALLLLL the sweets 🤗
20/10/2026Members of our student council met with the Senior Six this morning, to provide feedback and and queries from the rest of the student population.
These invaluable sessions ensure our students feel represented and listened to, making a real difference to their experiences in school.
