WELL DONE YEAR 11 2022

We are absolutely delighted with our students’ results this year. This is the first examination series since 2019, and this year’s results exceed those of 2019 and exceed all targets set for this group of students. Students have made better than expected progress across the board.

Over a very difficult and uncertain few years our Year 11s continually showed real resilience and determination. We are pleased that the hard work of our students and staff has paid off and delivered such great results.

The results in the core subjects continue to be very strong. For example, 90% of all students achieved a grade 4 or above in English, whilst in science 92% of all students achieved a grade 4 or above, with all those students entered for Biology, Chemistry and Physics achieving 100% grades 5+!

The following subjects achieved 100% grades 4 and above; Music, Spanish, PE, Further Maths and other subjects worthy of a mention for top pass rates include Geography, RE, French and Art, all with well over 80% grades 4 and above. Over 30 % of all grades achieved were at the highest levels - grades 7 to 9.

We are incredibly proud of everything that our students have achieved and wish them all well as they move onto the next phase in their education. Well done Year 11!
