2/11/2022Our senior prefect team will be visiting tutor groups all week to sell poppies as part of this year's Remembrance. We would like to remind students to bring some change into school if they would like to purchase a poppy.
21/10/2022After the success of our Summer Term Parents’ Forum, we are looking forward to holding our second one later on this term. We are proud of our working relationships with parents and carers and we are always striving to identify new opportunities for developing dialogue further. The parents’ forum consists of a group of dedicated parents and carers who want to participate in a constructive partnership focussing on school improvement through teaching and learning.
The next forum will be held on Thursday 10th November, 6.00pm – 7.15pm. This term, we are delighted to offer a carousel style event whereby parents / carers can select 2 of 5 sessions to attend based on areas of interest raised at the last parent forum. Sessions will last for 25 minutes with a maximum of 15 parents / carers in each one and they are:
1. A Parental Guide to Arbor and Google Classroom – Stewart Williams (Assistant Headteacher)
2. Special Educational Needs Provision at Woolmer Hill School – Lindsey Everritt (SENCO, Assistant Headteacher)
3. Behaviour and Rewards at Woolmer Hill School – Simon Watkins (Associate Assistant Headteacher)
4. Supporting your Child with Maths at Home - Peter Brown (Head of Maths)
5. A New PTA for Woolmer Hill School – David Clayton (Assistant Headteacher)
We have set up an Eventbrite booking system for this event. If you would like to attend, please follow the link below to book your place and your choice of sessions.
