8/12/2023We were delighted to welcome back our Year 11 students from last year and their families for an evening of celebration this week. The gym was full of reunited friends, festive refreshments and a real 'proud to belong' atmosphere. This was followed by a ceremony full of applause, sincerity and a touch of humour to mark the distribution of final exam certificates and special awards.
We are always so proud of our students as they move on to new paths and challenges and we wish them all the very best for the future.

5/12/2023We welcomed representatives from the Army to school yesterday and some of our KS4 students enjoyed a presentation about the range of careers, leadership and sporting opportunities available through an Army career. As well as learning about the range of careers, students spent hands-on time in workshops, developing communication and leadership skills with soldiers from the Infantry Corps and the Intelligence Corps.
Sam in Year 10 remarked "It's been an exciting morning; I never knew there was so much I could do in the Army."
Thank you to the Army for taking the time to offer us this opportunity and well done to all the participants for their engagement and enthusiasm and being such great ambassadors for Woolmer Hill School.
