27/09/2023Unfortunately, due to a diminished committee, FOWH have had to take the difficult decision to postpone their Quiz & Curry night. Do not worry though as it will return in the new year which will give us all something to look forward to!
Save the date: Friday 26th January 2024
Information on how to book will be published nearer the time.
It feels timely to add that if you would like to get involved in the Friends of Woolmer Hill, who do amazing work fundraising for our school by putting on great events such as these, new members are always welcome! Please contact Mr Clayton at school who can put you in touch with one of the committee members.

26/09/2023For Year 11, it's time to start to focusing on the future.
Not just revision, booster sessions and mocks but time to start thinking about a pathway for next September. Is college for you? Or would you prefer an apprenticeship? A level choices or BTEC courses? There are lots of avenues to explore and you should give yourself plenty of time to do that and to come to the right decision for you.
We are here to help; Mr Watkins, as Head of Year, your tutors, Mrs Borg, as Head of Careers, as well as our Careers partner Innervate; who will be seeing all students on a 1:1 basis over the coming weeks and months.
Many of the colleges have upcoming Open Days and a few of the key local ones are listed below in photos and links.

Remember it might take more than one visit to make your mind up and you shouldn't delay in making those all important applications.

11/09/2023🌿🌱🌿
Are you at all green-fingered, enjoy gardening or even work in horticulture and would be willing to run one of our weekly after school sessions for the WHS Gardening Club?
Encouraging young people to understand how to make the most of the garden, planning, sowing, growing and harvesting produce and plants, this is an incredibly popular co-curricular club that runs after school from 3.10-4.10pm and we are desperately seeking adult volunteers to help keep the club going.
If you can help, we would love to hear from you!

5/09/2023Sports Clubs are back as from next Monday!
Clubs are open to students of all abilities and we really do encourage everyone who wants to, to come along and take part.
There is no need to sign up, just bring your PE kit and head up to the Edge after school to get changed.
