9/09/2021**NOTICE ABOUT ROADWORKS & TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON A287**
We have been informed that from Monday 20th September for approximately four months there will be roadworks along the A287. This is to replace old metal gas mains.
The engineers will be working on the A287 Hindhead Road, starting at the junction with Heather Way and will progress southbound to Critchmere Hill. For everyone’s safety, there will be temporary multi-way signals around the site, which will move along the road as the project progresses. These will be manually controlled 7am to 7pm daily, to assist with traffic flow but there are likely to be delays in this area at peak times.
SGN have a dedicated webpage, https://bit.ly/3gwUao0 to ensure the local community are aware of the situation and updates.
SGN apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you for your understanding and patience enabling them to carry out these essential works.
8/09/2021We are pleased to announce that our Extra Curricular PE clubs will start from Monday 13th September and the timetable for this term is below.
Our Sports Clubs are a great way to have fun, build new friendships and earn house points, not to mention exercise, get fit and learn new skills! The PE Department are always keen to see students giving sports a go, no matter what their ability or experience is, so we would encourage everyone to come along and take part.
There is no need for the students to sign up, they simply need to report to the Edge with their PE kit after school and they will be given instructions on where to change and go. All clubs will finish at 4.20pm.
3/09/2021On this sunny morning, we wish a very warm welcome to our new Year 7 students and welcome back to our returning Year 11 students! We are looking forward to meeting and seeing you all and can’t wait for you to make positive starts in your first and last years at secondary school. Good luck!
