@WoolmerHillScho - 27/01/2020We welcomed back ACM last week for their second session of ‘Tuning In’. Students represented feelings & emotions through the art of song writing & were really able to address & explore issues relating to mental health. Next stop the recording session! Thank you @acm_uk! https://t.co/ybuud96Qgy

24/01/2020A big thank you to Claire Barraud and again to Alison Presly who came in to talk to our students during PSHE yesterday about their current careers. Claire delivered a talk to our KS4 students about her role within the NHS as a Midwife and Alison spoke to KS3 students about her role as a Government Lawyer. We hope that all the students who attended felt inspired to pursue their dream careers.
Mrs Worsell is compiling our programme of career talks, so if you would be willing to come into Woolmer Hill to discuss your career with our students, she would love to hear from you. We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone with a career in veterinary medicine, engineering or architecture.
23/01/2020A group of Year 7 students enjoyed a great day yesterday at the "Learn the Lingo" event at the University of Surrey.
Students explored lots of different languages (including Greek and Chinese!) and cultures whilst fun activities tested their translation and linguistic skills. Fantástico! 🇪🇸 🇨🇳 🇫🇷
