@WoolmerHillScho - 8/10/2020To all those Year 7 parents affected by tonight’s technical issues, whilst the system is back up and running, we appreciate many of you didn’t get a chance to make your appointments. We will be looking into options for rearrangement tomorrow and will be in touch. Apologies. https://t.co/mWDG3CeYdK

@WoolmerHillScho - 8/10/2020So proud of our Y11 students who attended their first "Period 7" lesson yesterday! "Period 7" is a programme of sessions, running after school, aimed at supporting Y11 by revisiting subject content, exam prep & retrieval practice.
Keep it up Y11! 😀
8/10/2020It was great to talk to prospective families yesterday at two of our Live Q&A Forums. We had some really good questions both from parents and children and we were pleased to be able to share information particularly on the pastoral set up and our Year 6 transition. We have one final Live Q&A Forum planned for tomorrow, Friday 9th October, at 9.30am. There are still a few spaces so if you would like to join us please follow this link. If you are unable to attend though and have questions you can still send them to email@example.com and we will be happy to answer them.
7/10/2020🌼 Wellbeing Week 🌼
When was the last time that you did absolutely nothing for 10 whole minutes? This week students have been learning about the benefits of taking 10 minutes out of their day to be mindful. During tutor time, students listened to a TED talk by Mindfulness expert Andy Puddicombe on refreshing your mind for 10 minutes a day, simply by being mindful and experiencing the present moment. A very interesting watch!

6/10/2020Our Year 7 Geographers have been busy today creating geographical flow maps showing the origins of migrants to the UK.
These take huge amounts of effort and patience to create and Mr Watkins was very pleased with your work. Well done Year 7!
Meanwhile in Year 9 this week, our Food Tech groups have been tasting protein alternatives....we wonder whether they enjoyed them and if 'Meat Free Mondays' will be on their menu now?
