5/10/2020Welcome to the start of Wellbeing Week!
Our Welfare, Pastoral and PSHE Teams have been busy putting together an exciting programme of activities for students, highlighting the importance of a healthy body and mind. This morning students listened to an assembly delivered by Miss Fry and Mrs De Gruchy on the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing, especially during this unprecedented time.
The team will be sharing lots of tips and resources throughout the week all with a view to promoting positive mental health. We will finish the week with "Hello Yellow", a mufti day to raise money for the charity Young Minds. Students can come to school in home clothes as long as they are wearing something yellow in exchange for a £1.50 donation. Money will be collected on the gates in the morning, unfortunately, no change can be given so please bring the exact amount.
@WoolmerHillScho - 5/10/2020A useful little video to remind us all about the importance of 'hands, face and space'. We continue to encourage these basic rules at school and we appreciate your continued support with it at home as well.
@WoolmerHillScho - 5/10/2020Well done to everyone that took part and congratulations to the winners! 🏆 https://t.co/jXjr51RlDA
@WoolmerHillScho - 1/10/2020 Retweeted Woolmer Hill PE DeptWe are loving teaching a full sporting curriculum, with students taking part in indoor and outdoor activities in their timetabled lessons. The focus this half of term is catching up on those missed summer lessons and making the most of what was the dry weather... ☀️ ➡️ ☔️ https://t.co/ckbFhqqGte
