17/07/2026This week, our students have had their Graduation Assemblies. We take the opportunity to reflect on the hard work of the year just gone and celebrate moving up to the next stage of their journey at Woolmer Hill. Well done Year 10. #ProudToAchieve #ProudToBelong

17/07/2026This week, some of our braver staff took part in staff karaoke to raise money for Wateraid, the Marley House charity. They raised a wonderful £136 and have threatened to return next year for another lunchtime singsong! #ProudToBelong

16/07/2026🏆 BIG WIN FOR OUR POETS! 🏆 On Sunday, six of our incredible students took the stage at the Poetry Slam—and they absolutely blew everyone away! Not only were they named the Overall Winners of the competition, but we also swept the individual titles! ✨ Joint Winners: US & LP ✨ Joint Runners-Up: LP and FO Huge congratulations to all six candidates for showcasing such incredible poetry writing skills and taking the stage with such bravado. We are so incredibly proud of you all! 👏📝✨ #ProudToAchieve

15/07/2026This morning, our Year 7 and 8 students were invited to our 'Proud to Dream' careers event, where they had the opportunity to talk about various careers with the people actually doing them. This invaluable session wouldn't be possible without representatives from industry and so huge thanks to all involved. 14/07/2026📢 Final call for Uganda trip sign up 📢 Arguably our biggest trip yet; an incredible 12 days in Uganda encompassing a rainforest safari, working in a small school and village clinic in Busu, and a boat cruise along the Murchison Falls. This once in a lifetime opportunity is open to our current Year 7 students and the deadline to sign up is tomorrow!
