Identity
Woolmer Hill School LiFe Curriculum
At Woolmer Hill School we believe that education doesn't just stop outside the classroom and that students continue to learn in all aspects of LiFe.
We are determined to ensure that we are providing opportunities for students to expand their horizons and get the best out of their time at Woolmer Hill.
Leadership - Student voice, student leadership teams
Identity - Lessons on self and RSE / PSHE
Futures - Careers and further education (Including Year 6-7 Transition)
Enrichment - Co-curricular clubs, trips and visits
Students are taught their Identity lessons by staff who have had specific training to be able to answer difficult questions and signpost students to information that they may need.
Our Identity lessons are taught through our Woolmer Hill Core Values promoting a more inclusive school and a local and global community. We believe our students should be Proud to Belong and Proud to Achieve.
We are always working with parents, students and external organisations in order to keep our Identity lessons relevant and modern.
Please see below for our Identity Parent Information booklet which contains further information and an outline of the curriculum.
