1/07/2026Our Year 9 students had a fantastic day at RHS Wisley for the Greener Future Careers event!
It was an incredible opportunity for them to explore the vast, modern world of the horticultural industry and discover where a passion for the planet can take them. Highlights of the day included inspirational talks from industry experts and getting hands-on experience planting tomatoes.
A huge thank you @rhswisley for hosting such an inspiring and eye-opening day and for the sunflowers to take home. Our students came away with green fingers and plenty of inspiration for their own future paths!

30/06/2026Last week, our students completed the final task for the Green Tree School Award, and to celebrate, they headed outside for a French Tree Party 🌳🧺
They enjoyed a taste of French cheese, while exploring vocabulary connected to trees and nature. Students got creative by designing beautiful calligrams in the shape of trees, combining language lesson with artistic expression.
A big thank you to all staff and students for their enthusiasm, hard work and continued support throughout the Green Tree School Award so far. More updates to follow soon!

We are delighted to be running our New Year 7 Summer School again in August.
This is such a great way for students to make new friends and get to know the school before officially starting Year 7 in September!
* 27th & 28th August
* 8.30am - 3.30pm
* £30 per child per day
* Lunch is provided
* Deadline to book is Monday 8th July - payment via your Arbor account.
30/06/2026Our excited new Year 7 students are receiving a warm welcome from all at Woolmer Hill today as they learn which tutor groups and Houses they will be part of for the next 5 years.
So far this morning we've had getting to know each other quizzes, map exercises to find our classrooms for the day, and teamwork in the form of building a shoe tower!

29/06/2026As our students begin to consider their post-16 pathways, 30 Year 10 students took part in a dynamic Taster Day at Alton College.
This valuable opportunity allowed students to experience college-level learning across a variety of creative and professional subjects, including Drama, Art, Textiles, Film and TV, and Early Years.
Experiencing these environments first-hand is crucial for helping students make informed decisions about their next steps after GCSEs.
Thank you to the staff at Alton College for providing such an engaging and welcoming experience for our Year 10's

This means she has been selected to represent Great Britain at this years' World Championships in Lake Garda, Italy, during the summer holidays.
